How this is assessed
One business function automated end to endSubmit a working workflow, the process map you built it from, a results note comparing baseline against post-build measures, and a handover guide. Use a real function — your own workplace, a family business, a volunteer organisation, a club. A simulated department cannot demonstrate the thing being assessed, which is whether you can automate real work without breaking it.

Before you submit
- Process map shows the real flow including exceptions and waiting time.
- The chosen segment is justified against value, risk and feasibility.
- The workflow runs end to end on real data, and you can show a run log.
- Irreversible, financial and customer-facing steps have human approval.
- A review queue and a manual override both exist and have been tested.
- Baseline and post-build measures use the same method, with regressions reported.
- A stakeholder ran the process while you observed, and their hesitations are recorded.
- The handover guide names an owner and states what you chose not to build.
