Scores, validity and retakes

Courses usually publish both an overall score and a per-section minimum — people miss offers on a single weak section far more often than on the overall.

Test scores expire, typically after two years, so sitting the test very early can backfire. Book with enough room to retake once, and treat a retake as normal rather than as failure.
