Who does well online, honestly

Completion rates online are markedly lower than on campus, and that is a fact about structure rather than about people. Nobody notices you missing, no timetable forces your week into a shape, and the work is always deferrable until tomorrow.

The people who do well build the structure a campus would have imposed: fixed hours in a calendar, a physical place that means study, at least one other human who knows what you were meant to have done this week, and actual contact with the institution rather than silent consumption. If you are not going to do those things, the honest answer is that a cheaper course you finish beats a better one you do not.
