Module 4 of 4
Audit writing
Findings, corrections, and residual risk.
An audit that only lists errors is half a job. For each finding, record what was claimed, what you found, what you changed it to, and how confident you are. Then give the document a single risk rating and say plainly whether it is safe to act on.
Include residual risk — the things you could not verify. "Three claims could not be checked against a primary source" is a useful sentence and an honest one. A reviewer trusts an audit that admits its own gaps far more than one that implies everything was resolved.
Claimed, found, changed, confidence — plus what you could not verify. Naming the gaps is what makes it credible.
That is the last module. What you hand in is Audit report on 5 AI-generated business documents — the rubric it is marked against is on the course page.
