Module 10 of 10
Putting it together
An ordinary day, and one real request made out loud.
The artifact has two halves and they are different kinds of work. The first is your real day, in order, using -ER verbs, aller, faire, the handful of verbs that need a me, the ordering words, one opinion with a reason, and one thing you are going to do later. The second is a transaction recorded out loud — ordering something, buying something, or asking the way — including the moment where you did not understand and asked for it again.
Record the transaction last and do not script the other side of it. The point is not a perfect exchange; it is whether you can keep going when the reply is not the one you rehearsed. A learner who produces a flawless café dialogue with both parts written out has demonstrated reading. A learner who gets asked sur place ou à emporter ?, misses it, asks for a repeat and then answers has demonstrated the thing this whole shelf is for.
Played by your device’s own French voice. It is a synthetic voice, not a recording of a teacher — close enough to learn the shape of a word, not close enough to copy exactly.

Your real day in order, and one transaction said out loud — including the part where you ask for a repeat.
That is the last module. What you hand in is An ordinary day, and one real request — transcript and recording — the rubric it is marked against is on the course page.
