Months 12 to 9 — decide and test

This is the thinking stretch. Lock the field, build a long list of twelve to fifteen courses across three tiers (ambitious, matched, safe), and book the English test with enough runway to sit it twice if needed.

Nothing here is glamorous and all of it is load-bearing. Every panicked application we have seen skipped this quarter.
