A shape that carries an audience

Audiences follow a structure they can feel. The most reliable shape is: here is the situation, here is the problem inside it, here is what I found or propose, here is what it means for you. Four moves in that order, and the room always knows where it is.

Signpost the moves out loud — "so that is the problem; here is what we did about it". It sounds clumsy written down and works when spoken, because a listener cannot scroll back. Say the destination early: a room that knows where it is going relaxes and listens.
