The Real Cost of a Degree · Lesson 2 of 3
Build the four-year table
Open a sheet. One row per year of the course. Columns: tuition, housing, living, one-off costs, and a fee-inflation bump each year — fees rise mid-course far more often than families expect.
Add a currency column. A degree priced in a foreign currency is also a multi-year bet on the exchange rate; a ten percent move against you is an ordinary event, not a disaster scenario. Model it.
