Why the order matters

Almost every family we meet starts the same way: 'We are thinking Canada.' It feels like progress because a country is concrete — you can picture it. But a country is a location, not a career. The course is the thing that decides what you do for the next forty years.

When the country comes first, the course gets chosen from whatever is available, affordable and quick to admit. That is how a student who is good at biology ends up in a two-year business diploma. Nothing is technically wrong, and everything is quietly wrong.
