A failed module that is later passed usually appears on the transcript as a pass, sometimes with the attempt shown; a capped resit may show the capped mark. Whether it affects your final classification depends on the rules, and a single capped module often barely moves it.

Employers ask about a degree, not a module, and at entry level almost never see a transcript at all. The lasting damage from failing something is rarely academic. It is the year lost by not acting, or by leaving quietly. Fix the module and keep going, and it becomes a thing that happened rather than a thing that decided anything.
