Fields where the credential is the gate

In licensed fields — medicine, law, nursing, accountancy, structural engineering, teaching — the credential is not optional and the accreditation body, not the ranking, decides which degrees count.

Check the recognising body for your field in the country where you intend to work. A degree that is excellent and unrecognised is an expensive hobby.
