Why most of these emails fail

The people you want to reach receive a great many near-identical messages. The ones that fail are long, vague, obviously sent to fifty recipients, and ask for something enormous and unbounded — "please guide me", "kindly help me with admission".

The ones that succeed are short, specific to that person, and ask one small answerable question. That is nearly the whole craft.
